SIT-AT-HOME: Federal Polytechnic Unwana Postpones Matriculation Ceremony

The Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana, Ebonyi state has postponed the matriculation ceremony of the newly admitted for the 2021/2022 academic session.
The matriculation ceremony which was earlier scheduled to hold on Tuesday 13th September, 2022 has now been Shifted to hold the following day which is Wednesday 13th September, 2022.
According to the school management, The postponement of the matriculation ceremony became necessary due to the sit-at-home order declared by the Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB)
“This is to inform the Polytechnic Community that due to the sit-at-home order on Tuesday, 13 September, 2022, the 41st Matriculation Ceremony of Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic, Unwana for the 2021/2022 session earlier scheduled for Tuesday, 13 September, 2022 at the Polytechnic’s Multipurpose Centre at 11.00a.m has been shifted to Wednesday, 14 September, 2022 at the same venue.”
“Any inconvenience arising from the change in date is highly regretted.”
